How much would it cost to get the advert screen on this bus shelter, opposite the DfT in Horseferry Road, to display how long it's been since the consultation ended?

The Times report on the EHRC guidance on sex in The Equality Act says "there is no type of official record or document in the UK which provide reliable evidence of sex".
Allowing people to change their birth certificates was stupid, as a simple smear of blood can provide the evidence of one's sex.

20mph default would bring your insurance costs down by £50. Esure says they'll reduce premiums for every area introducing the new limit. It's already happened in Wales, we should get the same benefits in Birmingham.

This govt's ability to promise one thing and piss some people off, then u-turn and promise something else and piss some other people off, whilst the first pissed off group still remain pissed off, thereby succeeding in pissing off everyone, has been a feature of Starmer's govt since day 1.

Reading a book on mediaeval manuscripts, was startled to see an inkwell in an illumination casting a shadow on a desk. Mediaeval art has no shadows.

Then remembered Plato and the shadows in the cave. So people in the past *knew* about shadows. Why didn’t they paint them?
