Golf carts are puttering their way toward becoming a legit transport mode.

This year, Cleveland, Corpus Christi, and South Carolina officially legalized them on local streets. Major media outlets like the Wall Street Journal and CBS News have covered their soaring popularity (esp in suburbs).
Why one Michigan town is regulating its golf cart boom
St. Johns, Michigan, is one of more than two dozen communities in the state to pass ordinances regulating golf carts on public roads.

We initially designed the protected cycle infrastructure to include the RBKC side of Bayswater Road. Not surprising but nonetheless a depressing reply came back: "Stepped tracks and bus stop by-passes are just not something that is supported in RBKC currently."

1/
I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Westminster Council want to add a direct bike route with floating bus stops to Bayswater Road, from Lancaster Gate all the way west to… the RBKC boundary, where it will abruptly end. because RBKC.

Goodwin (like similar voices) is being totally dishonest about this. Despite the equal dishonesty of its headline, the Mail story shows these weren't "anti-immigration tweets", they were calls for "slaughter" and mass violence against MPs. It's incredible that this is being openly condoned.

It's a real shame just how much the anti-terror protection has degraded all of the cycleways on London bridges. Making what would have been a good width undersized.

There are countless areas where people gather that don't have barriers. But the bridges are forever compromised.
Lambeth Bridge N&S used to be one of the most dangerous junctions in London.

We're transforming it - making it safer for everyone.

I'm delighted the carriageway has now reopened to two-way traffic - with new protected cycle lanes both side (with anti-terrorism protection) 🚲

My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

This looks a genuinely good rail station revamp in Cardiff, replacing a dull grey block facing a carpark with a new square and tram stop.
