Wild London is Sir David Attenborough's latest documentary.

It shows how our rewilding is "securing a brighter future for both animals, and us, too in our unique metropolis - the world's greenest major city." 💚💚💚

Watch it on BBC 1 on New Year's Day.

We were chuffed last week to have @willnorman.co.uk take part in our Common Sense Quiz recently (thanks, Will!). Unsurprisingly, Will is a bit of an expert when it comes to the rules of the road and Highway Code, scoring full marks - and with no questions unanswered. Watch below!

Lambeth Bridge N&S used to be one of the most dangerous junctions in London.

We're transforming it - making it safer for everyone.

I'm delighted the carriageway has now reopened to two-way traffic - with new protected cycle lanes both side (with anti-terrorism protection) 🚲

Illegal ghost number plates are a hole in the UK's security infrastructure.

They enable organised crime groups to operate undetected on our road network, let unsafe & dangerous drivers off the hook, and result in a significant loss of public funds.

London's Walking & Cycling Grants provide funding for community groups to enable people from all backgrounds to walk & cycle more.

I'm delighted TfL & London Marathon Foundation are investing £500,000 in 180 projects to be delivered in 2026.

Delighted to join @mayoroflondon.bsky.social to launch London's first fully electric cycling & walking ferry.

Crossing the Thames between Rotherhithe & Canary Wharf, it carries up to 100 bikes and helps connect up two of the UK's busiest bike lanes. 🚲🚶‍♀️🌊

Building bike lanes in a city as old as London can be complicated. You never know what's under London's roads & pavements.

We've found old pipes, cables & utilities, bones, buildings, archaeology & more.

Here we're looking at drainage solutions for the new Nine Elms bike lanes.

Since 2016 London's safe cycle network has increased from 90 to 430km - but we have much more to do.

This morning I saw the new sections of Cycleway 4 being built in Woolwich - hugely complex with lots of underground utilities to manage.

Thanks to TfL & Tarmac Kier teams.
