Day 25 of #31DaysOfGraves - Unique Animal

A talking serpent seems fairly unique!

This is the absolutely remarkable 18th century stone at Lundie, with Adam and Eve in Eden on one side and Abraham, Isaac and the unfortunate ram on the other.

Truly, one of the most special grave markers in Scotland.

Thought-provoking final paragraph here on the social cost of carbon.

"From that perspective, the question is less, “Why are flights so cheap?” and more, “Who actually pays for them?” "

Since reading this I have tried to use momentarily in exactly the same way.
Discworld QOTD, from Guards! Guards!

"‘I shall deal with the matter momentarily,’ he said. It was a good word. It always made people hesitate. They were never quite sure whether he meant he’d deal with it now, or just deal with it briefly. And no-one ever dared ask."
Discworld QOTD, from Monstrous Regiment

“Keep out of the way of officers, ‘cos they ain’t healthy. That’s what you learn in the army. The enemy dun’t really want to fight you, ‘cos the enemy is mostly blokes like you who want to go home with all their bits still on. But officers’ll get you killed.”
