So today I learned about Girl Scout Troop 6000, a Girl Scout troop entirely of girls living in NYC homeless shelters.
I also learned that you can buy all your Girl Scout cookies directly from them on-line.

1 thing I think about too much is how many things like this (“Absolutely nobody: _____ / punch line: ____”; “just gonna leave this here” et al ) began as riffs on Twitter or forums or maybe Tumblr and have become so established that all their charm/humor evaporated years ago but they won’t die
at this point i just assume any post starting with "i was today years old when i learned" is a wildly misunderstood anecdote if not an outright lie
