Every time I need to log onto one of several LoR services to submit a rec letter, I always think of this comic. The worst are individual programs with their own log-ins. Who is this more convenient for?

Re-upping this just in case. How did you learn to lead a research project? What guidance was helpful for you at the time? My current advice to students mostly boils down to "read a lot of papers lol," but I think I can do better!
I'm trying to put together a list of resources for students in my lab who are interested in leading projects, writing, papers, etc. Does anyone have any resources they like about coming up with research questions, conducting lit reviews, or writing academic papers that are accessible to undergrads?
