I just experienced the first law of robotics first hand. Claude refused to assist me in rewriting a cease & desist it suspected would lead to civil exposure. Straight up refused. I researched the jurisdiction and saw it was right. Amazing.

Today, May 1, is Law Day. For D.C.Bar members, one small but important way to take a stand in support of the rule of law is to support Diane Seltzer for D.C. Bar President. We must defeat her opponent Brad Bondi, brother of the current U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi. Please vote here: www.dcbar.org
If you are a member of the DC Bar, please watch this video and VOTE for Diane Seltzer for DC Bar president.

If you are not a member, please share with others who are.

The knock on economic effects are going to be brutal and fast.

Just in time for May's bill pay.

Time to test the 37% M@Ga floor.
People are NOT understanding what empty cargo ships from China means.

It means no work for dock workers. No work for truck drivers, no work for retailers, fewer dollars circulating. The cascade effect is just mind boggling.

@governor.pa.gov, please share this with Al Schmidt and David Sunday. This is real, and could change things in the most profound of ways!
The ETA is now formally urging state/local officials to hand audit paper voting records in Pennsylvania.

This escalation from our initial call for transparency in Feb 2025 is based on our findings from independent analysis of election result data.

Guys, you're still trying to replace FDR. I told you we can't do it, and we can't do it. Now, what we might be able to do is re-create him. Re-create him in the aggregate.

Every single damn Friday it's another stupid thing.
Jesus man
Welp they're doing the Roosevelt Reservation crazy strategy, giving the military "jurisdiction" over a 60-foot-wide stretch of land from CA to AZ, authorizing troops to detain migrants for "trespassing on military property," thus trying to bypass the Posse Commitatus Act.

It's bad and dumb, folks.

Total federal spending is up +7% in 2025 year-to-date on March 21 over 2024.

The illusion that the fed govt is tightening its belt is contradicted by its own real-time expenditure data. Admin spectacularly hammering some things but raising spending elsewhere.

Was -7% just after Inauguration Day.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.
