A company with decades of single-player experience pivoting to multiplayer? Well, it worked for Anthem, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, FBC: Firebreak, Redfall, Marvel's Avengers, and all those PlayStation games
Quantic Dream announces they are developing a competitive multiplayer game

Star Wars: Eclipse development still continues

Went to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia for a vacation. Picked up a used Fuji mirrorless camera. Was really fun taking photos, and looking for random birds since I went with 2 friends who are into birding. They may have converted me as well... time will tell haha.

hey just some quick feedback. the groceries -> cooking -> washing up loop feels too tight, it’s like I’ve only cooked a few times before I have to start over again. it’s a reliable resource sink for sure but it would be great to not have to do it so often. can we do a tuning pass

Finished this book the other day. Good series so far!
ADVOCATE has been out for a week, and it would be great if you spread the word, reviewed it, rec'd it to friends, your barber, your mail carrier, your neighbors, your doctor, your dentist, your bartender...or just bought 8 or 10 copies for yourself.

It's been fascinating for me in the last few years learning just how true this is. Devs have to make a game that works now AND one that works later

Seems like such a poor use of time and money. Like okay bake this cake to perfection, but also I'd like to eat a piece of it every 10 minutes 🫠
i can confidently say we'd be much, much farther in development with more refined dev tools and more awareness of late-stage design needs if we weren't having to build a playable, balanced alpha version game alongside "getting a really good game" made

it's basically like making two games at once

There hasn't been a single game in my life where I've thought, "Man I wish could ask this NPC absolutely anything I want and they'd respond."

Even if I had, it'd be novel for about 2 minutes.

I'll take 50 handcrafted lines from an actual writer than 1 million from a glorified chat bot any day.
