People love to talk about the hypocrisy of pro-BDS, anti sanctions on Russia leftists but the inverse is basically the policy position of every single European and American liberal lol

They caved in March so they could get a better deal now. They’re caving now so they can get a better deal in some indeterminate future. The better deal is always just beyond their reach, but continuing to cave will get them there. And if you don’t agree with that, you don’t understand Politics,

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

there's a weird feedback loop where the media's reaction to kirk's death pushes you to speak more ill of the dead than you otherwise would because it's the only reasonable response to the simpering praise they're heaping on him

taking this moment, between the terrible supreme court opinions, the concentration camps, and the bill in the senate, to go on tour of cable news to trash the dem nominee for mayor of nyc, and to do it while lying about him and peddling in obvious islamophobic rhetoric…it’s truly black pilling

I had not heard the Gillibrand comments and she not only doesn't push back on an islamophobic caller but repeats some smear that Zohran has supported calls for a global *jihad* while sounding like Marsha fucking Blackburn, there should be party-wide calls for her resignation.

Senator Gillibrand called on Al Franken to resign.
I think she should resign for falsely smearing Zohran Mamdani as a terrorist.

He has never invoked a ‘global jihad’. This is a nasty, Islamophobic racist smear from a sitting Dem senator.
I have low expectations for @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social, and even I was shocked by the naked Islamophobia that she was engaging in, including falsely accusing him of "global jihad".

I called her office and told them that this behavior is unacceptable from a sitting senator

"defund the police" was so obviously correct. I really don't care if it doesn't poll well. it's like telling me that I should stop saying I like vaccines if they stopped polling well.

this reminds me, top ranked Dems spent the first few months of Trump 2.0 insisting we should be hammering him on egg prices rather than DOGE, immigration, etc., but now (as anyone could have predicted) egg prices are back down to normal. months of messaging completely wasted.
people love to talk about dem messaging problems and those do exist but the core issues are still substantive. what even are they trying to message? i follow politics to an unhealthy degree and beyond “egg prices!” i don’t know what the party wants to do with power.

We’ve been the butt of the jokes for so many years. We’ve come close and failed and suffered and suffered and suffered. To have a season where we are absolute dog shit and muddy our way to a trophy after having previously done it ‘the right way‘ and failed is just perfect. We deserve this so much.

we need to draw blood in the 2026 and 2028 primaries, for the sake of the republic
It really tells you everything you need to know about the Democratic Party that they can't go after Trump for the most blatant corruption scandal in the history of the presidency because some of them are in bed with the same corruption coin guys.
Really terrible timing for Dems to be collaborating with the GOP on a stablecoin bill while Trump and his family are putting out a stablecoin! This is going to hit the floor next week.
