Dangerous (and Trumpy) nonsense.

The courts exist to interpret and protect our rights — even, and maybe especially, the unpopular ones.

The fact that they aren’t elected is a *good* thing.

Boy, North Carolina Republicans sure don't want the attached story to circulate. I sure hope that this stupid threat from their spokesperson doesn't boomerang on them and have a lot more people read and share the story, which once again, is conveniently attached below. That would be a shame.

Anyone can be a drug dealer... after he's murders you.
A blaring red warning signal for the rule of law; a President declaring “we’re just gonna kill people” without a trial or even a shred of due process.
Trump: "I don't think we're necessarily going to ask for a declaration of war, I think we're just gonna kill people that are bringing drugs into our country. We're going to kill them. They're going to be, like dead."

This indictment of Letitia James is not a prosecution; it is a politically-motivated persecution. Donald Trump is using a weaponized Department of Justice to punish a public servant who dared to hold him accountable. This sham proceeding is a direct assault on the Rule of Law.

Moreover, everyone knew he was lying. But enough people pretended he wasn't and voted for him. Absolutely astonishing.
The story of 2024 is this: Trump had a plan to destroy American government called Project 2025, which had, literally, not a typo, a 4% approval rating. He lied constantly and said he wouldn't do it.

Then he entered office and immediately implemented AN EVEN MORE EXTREME VERSION OF IT.

Yuuuuup. Also, I don't give a shit if some of the worst people in the world think I am being performative or am virtue signaling. Fuck 'em. They don't get to tell me how to be.

Anyway, trans rights are human rights, y'all. It's not complicated.
To my fellow cishet dudes: when we are quiet about supporting the trans community, the only voices anyone hears are the Charlie Kirks of the world. Don't let accusations of being "performative" or "virtue signaling" shut you up - that's their whole point. Our voices are needed now more than ever.
