Rachel Reeves says she’s ending “Motability tax breaks”.
Sounds like she’s cracking down on luxury cars, right?

That’s not what’s happening.

These changes raise costs for all disabled people on the scheme, including those with the cheapest cars.

Here’s how. 👇🧵

Wizened Millennials sneering at Gen Alpha: I told you the old ways are best

(Gen X, petting its moldering set of the 1983 World Book Encyclopedia: Soon. Soon.)
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

I guess the only way to protect cis women is… to make sure they get harassed as well as everyone else?? Real “only way to save the village was to destroy it” vibes. I already know two cis women who have been harassed in toilets for being tall (and way more trans women and men who get this daily).
“Under the new guidance, places such as hospital wards, gyms and leisure centres will reportedly be able to question transgender women over whether they should be using single-sex services based on how they look, their behaviour or concerns raised by others.”

Gender policing harms us all.

Undeniably lockdowns had an impact on schools and education, but what also had (and continues to have) an impact was pretending kids either couldn't get it or suffer long term harm from it, and actual solutions such as installing proper ventilation in schools etc did not happen.

Gee, I can’t imagine why people think there’s incriminating information about Trump in the Epstein files

I mean, it’s not like he has a history of calling women “piggy”, talking about grabbing them by the p*ssy or giving accused rapist Andrew Tate preferential treatment or anything
Interviews and records show the White House intervened on behalf of accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate during a federal investigation.

The incident is the latest in a string of matters where the Trump administration has inserted itself to help friends and target foes.
The White House Intervened on Behalf of Accused Sex Trafficker Andrew Tate During a Federal Investigation
Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.

This obvious lie isn't just about the CDC. It's confirmation that ALL information conveyed by the Trump administration is suspect and must be presumed false. Jobs numbers. Immigration data. The treatment and whereabouts of detainees. Military operations. Foreign relations. Everything.
This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:

“The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism”.

There are 3m people in the UK on Universal Credit looking for work.

There are 720,000 jobs the lowest number ever.

150,000 are for the NHS who lists but doesn't hire.

There aren't any jobs for people to work.

But they will keep blaming you.
