One of my few real opinions is that you shouldn't be having kids if you aren't ok with the possibility of them being one of the types of person that exist
We really are a nation that loves animals and hates children. These figures are so shameful (via @natacha.bsky.social).

When those who hate trans people win - or pretend to win, cf Sandie Peggie - it's all over the media, even if it's just a tribunal decision. But when they lose, even in the Court of Appeal, it's absolute bloody tumbleweed. So here's our blog about Allison Bailey latest loss. goodlaw.social/3uyd

Anti-trans tulip corrected by the judge: "The idea that Mr B is being imprisoned because of his religious beliefs is nonsense. This court does not imprison people for their religious beliefs. Mr B is being imprisoned because he is trespassing on other people's property. No more. No less."

I spoke in Parliament today to challenge the misinformation from those claiming this tribunal as a 'win' for the anti-trans agenda.

In fact it found Ms Peggie harassed a colleague for being trans, and it dismissed almost all her claims.

It also found that trans segregation is not supported in law.
We've written & published a short summary statement regarding the Sandie Peggie V NHS Fife Health Board employment tribunal case & the judgment given yesterday. Much of the media coverage has missed key information, the most important aspect being that all claims against Dr Beth Upton were dismissed

The proposals to limit Article 3 are absolutely terrifying. I struggle to think of something that has come out of any UK government which has concerned me more. This must be resisted absolutely.

From the judgement…
'Only 0.05% of the female workforce had complained or raised a concern about the policy (i.e. the claimant) and it cannot therefore be said that all women considered that their dignity and privacy had been sacrificed.'

And then I remember how adults addressed things when i was bullied and yeah that is actually what we teach kids. Better to deal with the bullied than stand up to the bulky and protect the vulnerable

All I can think is this what you teach the kids? That when cruel people bully you give in for an easy life? That cruelty and threats are what get your way and its wise to surrender to bigotry?

There is a direct correlation between how fake your job is and how much value you see in AI
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

Many will be pleased to see the back of the awful two-child cap and rape clause, but hard to understand how Reeves was happy to a) keep it going for 16 months and b) see MPs suspended for wanting it ended, if she really thinks it an unconscionable policy

Funny how they never engage with the ones on the left they disagree with...
Glasman's spox said he “regularly engages with people with whom he does not agree... He will continue to listen and debate on the work of renewing our country.”

I fail to see how rubbing shoulders with a bunch of cranks and conspiracy theorists will "renew" Britain, but maybe Morgan disagrees.

Yes, perfectly normal to want a manifesto pledge to make people eat Turkey at Christmas.
What actually happened is the opposite of "woke". There is a turkey shortage because of bird flu.

You know the sort of thing animal welfare regulations and consumer protections might have prevented if not for decades of deregulation.
