Mazin Zaim Died After Being Arrested. His Autopsy Cites Excited Delirium
Alberta rejects the controversial diagnosis as a cause of death. So why is it all over this report?

If the Canadian left could just absorb this one simple lesson…
imagine voting for positive change rather than the lesser evil

Zohran will keep winning because he is offering people something to vote FOR instead of telling them what they need to vote against
This @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social video is absolutely INCREDIBLE. The numbers he cites, the strategy and results they produced — it’s the future. When have you heard *any* campaign talk about this, ever? (Video split in 2 to fit in Bluesky’s limits)

Also no porn would be bad.

This cultural swing towards Puritanism is not a good thing.

Pleasure is good. Sex is good. Have a beer. Have an orgasm. Enjoy life. Ask who benefits from your lack of leisure.

Consenting adults jerking off to other consenting adults is a pillar of a free society.
Yes, this is bad for porn.

But porn famously has no clear legal definition. As such:

This is a direct path to censoring anything the GOP wants to censor and can argue is “adult” - info on birth control, queer identity, anything about trans people or gender diversity or safe sex or HIV or drag or

Things I think all Americans get access to before smart watches: clean water, literacy skills, a primary care physician, nutrient rich food, the internet, the job market, housing …
Can’t wait for a time when Americans will be denied access to life saving drugs and therapies based on their step count, and sleep scores.

It isn't immoral to take drugs.

It is immoral not to change the policy responsible.

Heartbreaking speeches at @anyoneschild.bsky.social 10 year anniversary event. Feeling angry & motivated - we must get drug reform.

But such campaigns "harm millions of neurodivergent people who benefit, or could benefit, from nicotine’s cognitive effects."

What do we think the chances are that a “journalist” who can be bought by billionaires turns out to be an ethical politician? 🤔

“We looked at the facts, we saw the facts but we want to be clear with you: we don’t care about the facts”
“We look at evidence, we have experts, we have the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs who offer advice, we look at evidence all the time. But I... want to be clear with you, we do not support drug consumption facilities, it’s not our policy and we will not be amending the Misuse of Drugs Act.”

These tools could save lives. Instead they perpetuate dangerous mythologies.

Factual health information should be accessible to everyone. That’s how we empower people to make informed decisions based on their needs and context.
The current META AI feature recently added in WhatsApp is more useless than Facebook itself.

#HarmReduction? Forget about it with Mark’s platforms.

this is maddening and incredibly true
After over a decade we *finally* start seeing a drop in the overdose death rates & thanks to MAGA we’re going to go & undo that progress as fast as we can.
Found out today that my state cut all preexisting funding for overdose prevention, addiction, & “harm reduction efforts to reduce overdose rates and deaths.”

The city I live and work in has as many overdose deaths as San Francisco and my state is in the top worst for overdose for the past 15 years.
