Shabana Mahmood casually saying they're gonna take migrant's jewellery off them has got me thinking about that scene in Schindler's List where the Jewish family wrap family heirlooms in bread and swallow them.

What the fuck are we?

I can only assume that Shabana Mahmood has given up all hope of ever winning the Labour leadership.

I similarly assume Labour is giving up on holding almost any of its seats in the Scottish parliament next year. Or about half of its inner city councils.
Somebody is briefing the Times that the Home Secretary finds inspiration in Kristi Noem's leading the Trump mass deportation effort - which has gone much too far for Americans

What a kamikaze piece of political madness that is on the eve of their asylum package

Angola, Namibia and the Democratic Republic of Congo will face Trump-style sanctions if they do not start taking back more illegal migrants and criminals

Once again for those at the back - morally repugnant, politically catastrophic. It won't work, won't happen and will lose Labour even more support. Masterful.
Shabana Mahmood has vowed to end Britain’s “golden ticket” for asylum seekers by forcing people arriving illegally to wait 20 years before they can apply for permanent settlement

The home secretary is planning to introduce a 20-year wait for permanent stay to end a ‘golden ticket’ for asylum seekers

Maybe asylum seekers should have to wear some sort of identifying mark on their clothing?

(For those who don’t know me, this is a satirical comment. Those who do know me know that satire is pretty much all I’ve got.)

Donald Trump has pardoned former Army Ranger Cameron Poe, convicted in 1989 of a federal manslaughter charge in Mobile, Alabama. Poe served 8 years in federal prison and was paroled in 1997. Today’s pardon restores his military rank, giving him access to his Army pension and a military burial.

The world’s biggest board game fair, Spiel Essen, secured a record-breaking 220,000 attendance this year after expanding into a seventh massive hall – while the decision to scrap 4-day passes secured a hefty boost to visitor numbers on its often quieter final day:

And we have now progressed from data analysis to policy recommendations.

I told her that we'd calculate the cash value of her candy haul, that I'd ask her to raid her piggy bank and donate 1/3 the candy cash value to a local food bank, and that I'd add on a 5X match.

The New York Post is owned by Lachlan Murdoch, solely because his daddy bought it and passed it on to him.

And it's backing Andrew Cuomo, a meathead whose whole career in politics stems from his daddy being good at it.

But *Mamdani* is the nepo baby, because his mom was a filmmaker? Sure.
