Star Trek V, The Final Frontier scene. Collegial work associate Kirk and Spock are in an elevator, or a "turbolift" if you want to be fancy about it. Both are wearing outdoors stuff, Kirk in a leather coat over flannel all rugged like, and Spock is in a more normal but clearly future space blue jacket. Picture 1 has both standing facing the door for the elevator ride and Kirk is speaking. Closed caption reads, "I could really use a shower." One thing about vidcasts is folks interrupting each other. @ryanthomasriddle.com and I interrupt each other all the time, but you’d never know it because I shift the audio in the edit so that we don’t overlap. The listener can hear both of us instead of a muddled mess. You can’t do that with video.

Sirtis remembered the experience of working on STAR TREK GENERATIONS fondly, saying in 2012, "We had a really good time on Generations. We had a good time on all of them, for different reasons, but a lot of fun and funny things happened on GENERATIONS. Maybe because there was no gap between the series ending and the first movie starting. I think I had two days off before I started shooting on the movie. It was really a continuation, so I think that jocularity and everything continued into the movie. We all had a great time on FIRST CONTACT, and I think it’s our favorite movie because it was the best movie of the four. I think we’d all agree with that. But we all had a great time on GENERATIONS. We really did."

my strongest crackpot opinion of that nature: if darwyn cooke’s “the new frontier” had been hailed as the greatest work of sequential art ever - as opposed to the tedious and obscenely overrated “watchmen” - humanity itself would have been the better for it.
