59 years ago today, I went to my neighbor's house so I could watch "The Man Trap" in color. We had a color TV, but my parents wanted to watch something else. Later they attended #StarTrek conventions with me and I brought them to the set of #TNG during season 1 ("Too Short A Season").

On July 13, 1985, I was in a trailer at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia writing the script for ABC-TV’s three-hour prime-time coverage of Live Aid, hosted by Dick Clark. It was my first prime-time writing assignment. Thank you, Larry Klein, for telling me I had to say “yes.”

56 years ago today, the final first run episode of the original #StarTrek series, "Turnabout Intruder," aired on NBC. At the time, we thought, "No more Star Trek ever!" We were wrong.
