These are bad for the same reason heels are bad, and the same reason why backbraces aren't reliable. Anything that does the work a muscle should be doing will weaken your body over time and make any problems you already have much, much worse. Obviously.

People are so brainwashed by capitalism/heirarchy that they're horrified by the word "anarchy" and even by any visual homage to it. The other day someone pointed out to me the "x" logo here looked too much like the anarchy symbol. I was like. Yeah. The X-Men are all about tearing down hierarchy.

I feel like the Academic Grudge is a unique kind of pain that never really fades. Feeling both disempowered and silenced in one part of your life informs how you express yourself in other parts, especially when that form of expression is innately tied to that negative experience.
There's something so everlasting about academic grudges. If someone screws you over in any aspect of life, it sucks, but if someone screws you over using their power and status in an academic field, they become truly monstrous. You'll never stop feeling disempowered when you think of them.

We cannot ignore what we can see with our own eyes.
This was state violence.
And the blame lies with the NSW Labor government for attempting to shut down legitimate protest, and the federal Labor government who invited the head of a state committing genocide to our shores.
