Renee Montgomery asks Marina Mabrey about the Crashout Jar and people holding up money for it, Marina freaks out a bit when she finds out she got a tech during the game but says any money in the crashout jar will be donated to support Minneapolis

Recall that Melissa Hortman and her husband were murdered not long ago by a fake cop who showed up at their door looking like this guy
This is from Georgia Fort’s video.

DEA?!? Gotta be a “task force.”

In addition to all our stolen neighbors back, Minneapolis needs billions in federal reparations for the economic damage the US government has intentionally inflicted on this city for no reason beyond exacting some kind of bizarre political and racial retribution

I’ve tried to tell out-of-towners that one of the low-key traumas of living here is these psychos ignoring all traffic laws. I’ve actually reduced my driving further just to avoid their shittery, but they can cream you on a bike or roll up on sidewalk just as easily.
Just madness out in the streets where these guys throw on their sirens and lights flying through neighborhoods at high speeds. People don't even bother pulling over for them anymore because they just do this all the time.

"FUCK ICE" "NOT ICE"

Been thinking about how we’re not okay here in Minnesota and how events and the state of affaires are echoing in our day to day world. A thread.

A good time to repost this, Ilhan Omar is awesome
A mutual aid organizer in Minneapolis told us that Ilhan Omar pops in to help with the foodbank.

No press, no photos, she just shows up and asks the organizers where she should pitch in.

Whether it's ICE executing people at protests or wine moms blowing whistles at protests, there's been plenty of misbehavior on both sides.

REP. OMAR after being attacked with liquid: “We will continue! These fucking assholes are not gonna get away with this! Here is the reality people like this ugly man don’t understand — we are Minnesota Strong. We’ll stay resilient in the face of whatever they might throw at us.”

This. Everyone showed out (shoutout to even conservative-leaning outstate towns whose protest pics I was heartened by seeing), but no need to be pedantic here

My Gen-Z kids loved Harry Potter. Then they grew the fuck up. Then JK Rowling being a shitty transphobe relieved them of ever having warm thoughts about it so there's no nostalgic revisiting. It's pretty simple.

Younger generations “have fallen out of love with Harry Potter because they have fallen out of love with the worldview the series represents,” writes Louise Perry. “Which is to say that young people have fallen out of love with liberalism.”

If your Representative or Senators start going "whew! I guess it's ok to give DHS funding now" be ready to get on their cases
Today’s retreat is absolutely an attempt to take pressure off of Congress to rein in ICE so that a funding package can get through.

That pressure has been effective. We can celebrate Minneapolis’ win but we need to keep the pressure on. They’re not going to stop forever.

We deadass did this in middle school when we were bored. Guess it’s no surprise that teens from one of the most rando small towns ever were smarter than these twats
If you want to know (again) how fucking stupid this administration is, listen to Bovino talk about how Minnesota wouldn't give them the addresses of convicted sex offenders. This is false - they did give them the addresses, but also, you can GOOGLE them.
