Sorry but it’s very funny that Ken Martin is mad when those 8 are the types of dem he LOOOOOOVES to put into office. It would actually kill him to support someone who would stand up to this shit.

It really annoys me no one refers to the decade we’re in as the 20s.

I very much wish I liked Cory Doctorow's novels. From a "what's this book about?" standpoint, they ought to 100% be my jam. But every time I try to read one I rediscover that they feel unintentionally YA. His characters talk and act like a precocious 14 year old imagines adults talk and act.

Bo French has a house someone else could occupy, and that someone else would be sure to contribute more value to America than Bo French, who is a stain on the country and its culture. So that's one towards the hundred million right there.

Jury nullification is good and it's a good sign for America's path out of authoritarianism that juries are recognizing their power to nullify.

Amir Locke was murdered in his home on February 2nd, 2022 for simply possessing a firearm.

Almost exactly a year later the DFL passed a law requiring any black man in Minneapolis who wants to buy a handgun to first register himself with the department that killed Amir Locke.
If George Floyd's life and death kinda sorta mattered, Amir Locke's life sure the fuck did not matter to the voters of this city. That is abysmal when you think of it.

Yesterday's elections were a repudiation of the anti-trans political project, in both its hand-wringing elites form and its Libs of TikTok gutter bigotry. That's progress to celebrate and build upon.
The Anti-Anti-Trans Election
Running against trans people failed and America proved itself a better place than the worst among us want it to be.

Abolish ICE and arrest them
ICE officers reportedly shot a 25-year-old named Carlos Jimenez.

He was shot after getting out of his car to tell the agents, who had pulled over a vehicle, that children would soon be gathering in that spot for the school bus.

Duluth has so much green space already including in Lester Park directly adjacent to this land. What we don't have is enough housing. Every bit of this land needs to be turned into a beautiful neighborhood.

“The expansion of gun rights is never the right answer.” - Elie Mystal

Elie Mystal coming out against the 14th amendment which was passed in part to protect the gun rights of Freedmen who faced disarmament at the hands of the KKK and local governments.
The "pro-weed" gun case is a trap for lefties. Yes, it's hypocritcal to take away guns from people who use weed, but not people who abuse alcohol. But the way to deal with that is to DECRIMINALIZE WEED, not expand gun rights.

Don’t Fall for the Supreme Court’s “Pro-Weed” Gun Case
The case, which proposes expanding gun access to drug users, is not an opportunity—it‘s a trap.

If you think Black Lives Matter then decriminalizing guns is just as imperative as decriminalizing drugs. The war on guns has all the same downsides as the war on drugs.
