This reminds me of how classism and ageism have congealed in the anti-trans movement in their hatred of young insecure people and the things they care about.

They find common cause with many of the red-brown lot who also have open contempt for the actual modern working class.
UK politics weirdness about class isn't limited to the centre, it must be said; it's not just Labour chasing a vision of the working class that doesn't exist and hasn't for decades, it's non-Green Capital L left as well. Every time I see railing against Green parties for not having a class basis...

The thing about this, Corbyn can say absolutely anything, but all he is is a figure head, if Zarah hadn't pushed the issue they still wouldn't have opened membership I wonder if they would have announced making a party even, he is not driving the YORPER bus
EXCLUSIVE: Jeremy Corbyn has said that he thinks Your Party will be standing candidates in next year’s Holyrood election

it drives me insane how they act like asylum seekers are just spawning out of nowhere and heading to Britian
On Monday, Shabana Mahmood will announce an overhaul of the asylum system, here’s why ⬇️

Not even blinking between openly using "illegal immigration" to refer to "asylum seekers".

When asylum is not only my illegal, but internationally required not to be.

Mahmood is the shadow of cruelty in our politics. Reform could cease to exist and she'd still be pushing for this.

‘without permission’ like they should have asked us first before having to flee their homes
Shabana Mahmood tells Sunday Times it should take 20 years for somebody granted refugee status in UK to secure permanent status (ie, reapply 6 times) if came without permission.

Paper says Denmark has toughest settlement timeline (8 years) but UK govt wants longer

To suggest that having lived a life so grim that even an English tribunal will grant you asylum, and to have somehow managed to get here at great risk to life, is a "golden ticket" is absolutely fucking contemptible. Shame on this so-called Labour Party.
No, I'd say it's racists and those pandering to them.

Labour turning the dial that says "racism" and looking back towards the public like a contestant on the price is right only to discover every time they turn the dial the only thing that changes is Reform's increasing vote share.

Your strategy of xenophobia has already failed. More won't help.

Okay, I can't let this one go. I live in Ireland, not the UK, but the use of this image by a supposedly socialist party is so stupid and offensive, I'm going to get stuck in.

Let me explain to you why any experienced illustrator/designer could have stopped you making so many miserable mistakes. 1/

This is the politics of blackmail. The alternative is not a Reform government. The alternative is maintaining our international commitments to being a compassionate nation

Any independence strategy that isn't focused almost entirely on getting support for independence in Scotland over 60% is a complete waste of paper.

Every question of how to secure the final break is secondary to securing that support.
