If there's one thing that's very American it's the buying mindset. A lot of countries have a selling mindset, that's to be expected. A lot of countries haggle. America has a "I'll buy that for a dollar" way of looking at things that I think doesn't quite exist elsewhere in the same way...

Mark told me this story in person last year, and I was so pleased that a line like "the sound bullets make when they bounce off living flesh" came from a vintage Krypto comic. And it just happens to be the comics page that made him a writer!

I don’t think so, but you can never be sure with boxing. Clearly he got opportunities he never would have had just based on ability. But like he was ranked 14th in the world at cruiserweight! He seems to have a bit of Homer Simpson syndrome, can take a lot of beating and has a long reach.

as i try drill correct finger placement i become starkly aware of how much of my typing is getting out of my head and letting the fingers find the keys they need the fingers want to do their weird dance and i'm trying to stop them
