I guess I'd say it pretty well captures exactly why we're (the world) here (sliding into authoritarianism) perhaps.
Allowing greed/fame/self-satisfaction (interactions) to dictate decisions about what is pretty clearly a right/wrong choice to stay in an environment full of Nazis that pays a Nazi.

It is excruciatingly fascinating watching Twitter become a nazi playground and seeing that so many people are just like yeah this is still fine (tm). Makes one question whether anyone still on the nazi playground doesn't have a bit of nazi in them.

The system should work such that the parents are prosecuted or anyone else who KNEW & ALLOWED IT GO ON & ON (even the officer), but our system protects pedos & their enablers more than victims themselves.
They shouldn't be ALLOWED to just "decide" not to pursue an investigation when IT'S CHILDREN!
