Last year, we made the decision to step away from X.

The Royal Irish Academy is committed to creating, convening, and sharing knowledge for the public good and as an organisation we value Independence; Integrity; Curiosity; Openness and Rigour.

In our view, X no longer aligns with these values

Nadhim Zahawi. Patriot.

Who patriotically founded YouGov and patriotically didn't pay £5,000,000 in patriotic tax he patriotically owed the UK.

And all that patriotism while he was briefly made patriotic Chancellor of the Exchequer, responsible for ensuring patriotic UK tax is paid. Patriotically.
Never forget: the people who hate their country most are those who style themselves "patriots".

Keir Starmer’s promise to “fight you with everything we have” raises two possibilities, neither of them good:

1. He was telling the truth, and the total lack of action since that speech is, in fact, “all he has”.

2. He did not mean it when he made that speech.

Not sure I see an option three.
"We will fight you with everything we have" may have meant mainly something like 'make speech saying racism bad' + Farage bad.

It does *not* include: seek to shift GB public away from a site protecting overt racism, promoting great replacement theory + inter-ethnic civil war as inevitable

I just looked at Keir Starmer's latest tweet on X. Three times as many hostile replies and quote tweets than likes and RTs. Plus a community note attached. 850k views - a massive chunk of that to hostile accounts given above.

Is this really high quality reach?

A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.

There’s more to the Epstein Bannon Farage connection than this.

Epstein was actively guiding Bannon how to secretly finance ‘The Movement’ — a right wing pan Europe organisation in concert with Farage — set up by his partner Laure Ferrari
