The MS of the Week is RIA MS 23 P 26, The Book of Fenagh. Created by a skilled scribe, it includes both prose and verse. The MS is well preserved with only minor outer-folio damage.

The Manuscript of the Week is RIA MS 23 P 26, the Book of Fenagh. This 16th C manuscript is the work of a skilled scribe, on good quality vellum, and contains both prose and verse. The writing is in double columns and some of the capitals are filled in with red pigment.

The Nowlan Digitisation Grant scheme, which was founded in 2020 and is funded by a bequest by the late Prof. Kevin B. Nowlan, aims to expand the range of digitised historical or archaeological sources available through open and free access to researchers.
