On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

Too many people think the issue is "ai look bad" not the stolen data sets not the workers rights not the climate change and the fact that people CANNOT AFFORD TO TURN ON THEIR HEAT because they're subsidizing data centers, let alone the misinformation and fascism

This is disappointing, especially from a studio that has mocked the use of gen AI. It doesn't matter if it's only being used for tiny things or that none of it will be in the final product. Ppl adore Larian, you really want to lose all that goodwill over AI slop?

I agree with all this — sick leave is essential to a healthy society. While we’re working on that, though, we need to make it a general norm that if you MUST be around others while sick, you wear a mask (preferably a good one).
3/ Isolation is important but only works if people can afford it. Many people simply can’t stay home when sick. Without meaningful sick pay, asking people to isolate is unrealistic. Better financial support is essential to reduce transmission.
