My family and I were in line for the zoo lights (the zoo done up with holiday lights in winter) at the Phoenix zoo and we were directly behind Rob Corddry, and I saw him see that I recognized him but he was there with his kids so I just gave him a nod and minded my own business.
Please quote this from the time you didn't interact with someone famous.

I was visiting with family in New Bedford, Massachusetts, at the same time that Mother Theresa was there visiting her Missionaries of Charity. The bishop held a Mass for her at the church where I was baptized. I didn't go.
Catching a train from Bristol Temple Meads, but they shifted the service along the platform because a scene from THE OUTLAWS was being shot where it would usually come in. The scene featured Christopher Walken and Stephen Merchant, but my train came before they shot it so I didn't see either of 'em.

the dev can't flag this review anymore, but other users can.

link to the review: steamcommunity.com/id/breakzora...

cite Steam's policy back to them: help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view... "Do not direct abuse or insults at other players, developers, or groups."
Since I posted this yesterday:
- The writer of the "I hate muslims" review has doubled down, and added that they also hate transgender people
- Valve removed my flag from the review, with nothing done about it. The review remains up and on our Steam page

I say again: Is this what Steam is now?

What is your favorite "Christian" Christmas song and what is your favorite "Secular" Christmas song?

For a religious song it has to be Silent Night.

For secular, I'm going with Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
It’s: “this little babe” from Britten’s carols.

And it’s fairytale except that song is religious, so maybe it’s Robert earl keen excerpt so is that song :)
What is your favorite "Christian" Christmas song and what is your favorite "Secular" Christmas song?

I will probably always adore "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" for Christian.

And "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" for secular.

Stephen Miller is 100% that kid from a slightly well-off family who sat in your Intro to Sociology class spouting contrarian nonsense and assumed that everyone hating him meant he was misunderstood and correct, and not just an asshole.
Miller is the perfect example of an idiot who thinks he's a genius underlined by the fact that he thinks there is any sort of cultural purity anywhere in the world. Anyone who thinks in those terms is a moron.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die, Charlie Brown.
Charlie Brown believed in the green light, the orgasmic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter- tomorrow we’ll run faster, stretch our arms farther ... And one fine morning- So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past
I’m not the guy you kill, Charlie Brown. I’m the guy you buy!

With the match well in hand, and Bayern and Chelsea on the horizon, why didn't Arteta take off players like Saka, Rice, Saliba, and Timber?

I wonder if this is a combination of rigid adherence to (patriarchal) hierarchy, and having no real friends.
White supremacy just cannot apprehend kinship beyond the "nuclear family"
In a bit of a tense moment, one of the La Mega co-hosts presses Mamdani on why he "lied" about his "aunt" having been scared to ride the subway after 9/11 while wearing a hijab.

Mamdani says it was "not a lie" because he refers to his father's cousin as his "aunt."
