update here, Rory McIlroy just hit a shot out of the deep grass that uncovered a chunk of dirt containing another golf ball, lost by some anonymous golfer months or years ago, like a caveman preserved in a bog
I don't watch a lot of golf but I will watch the British Open, the grass is 4 feet tall, it's 57 degrees and rainy and windy, the course is covered in a thick fog at all times, everybody looks miserable the whole time, I love it
