Fresh is good. Ripe is better.

Lover of fresh fruit and veggies enjoyed in season. Currently enjoying apples. 🍎

Breakfast is served.
Waffles with fresh berries baked inside and on top.
We have fresh raspberries, blueberries and plums right now -- and just enjoyed a fresh mango 🥭 like this. Mmm.
Awful take. Slice down either side of the seed. Score the inside. Invert. Eat. Delicious.

As someone who loves cherries 🍒, this is a hard - and important - story to read.

Not a bad cherry haul from the garden even if I do say so myself, especially given the desperate lack of water here in the Midlands. Enough left for the blackbirds and their brood too on the tree... Now to the blackcurrants and gooseberries... #UKGardening #Gardening 🌱

Redcurrants are so bloody beautiful, man.

They are also easy to harvest and the birds don't seem to covet them, so inevitably they taste very sour. I am making jam with them and gooseberries, blackcurrants, josterbeeren and the last of the cherries.

Halfway done picking but all the way out of time. So grateful to live on a 1/4 acre that allows us to grow some of our own food. 🌱

I am dangerously and unnaturally full of cherries. I have never been to a pick-your-own cherries thing before but OH MY GOD it is amazing. I have never before literally eaten cherries until I could not get any more cherries into my cherry-distended belly. They are SO GOOD.

Yaaaay! I’m so happy to see all the berries growing and ripening in the parks around here, too. Serviceberries, mulberries, wild strawberries, purple flowering raspberries (just growing, no berries ready to eat yet). It’s such a lovely time.
