I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for a few years to put microphones next to busy highways in cities, take the sound from the mics, invert the waveforms, and then play it back at a high amplitude to try and cancel the highway noise with subtractive phase cancellation. 🤔

Burn - it's a documentary by Denis Leary about Detroit Fire Department having to deal with tons of abandoned houses being burned down for various reasons, and it's a GREAT glimpse into the fire service for anyone even remotely interested in what a big city department deals with on the reg.
