Elora put a lot of effort into learning to suppress her miqo instincts early on, like ear/tail movements. It was a survival tactic to hide her emotions, growing up in a hostile environment as one of the only miqos, and certainly the only fem miqo.

Anyway I will always love Final Fantasy XIV because making a mary sue is entirely the point. You are supposed to make a super self-indulgent character to experience the fantasy epic with. You're supposed to kiss NPCs. And everyone does and everyone celebrates it and it's great.

Most famously, G'raha Tia is head over heals for my WoL, but she has zero interest in him beyond friendship. She was already firmly in a relationship with Aymeric by the time G'raha got back to the source. It caused a strain in their relationship for a long time, but they're finally on good terms.

PLEASE. I illustrate solely in CSP and can work with vectors, it's not an issue, but rasterized art cannot be turned into vector art later! I have to START in vectors!
I've only had this issue once and thankfully we caught it before the work was finished, so I didn't have to redo too much.

Reminder to everyone hiring an artist: If you need vector files delivered, that needs to be established up-front, before work starts. I cannot give you vector files because I do not work with vectors.

- black beans (2 cans or 1 bag dry)
- onion+garlic
- tomatoes+chilis
- 1 cup sweet corn
- stock
- taco seasoning
For dry beans, soak overnight. Sauté onion and then put everything together in a pot. Cook for an hour on medium low. Mash or blend, serve with bread/sour cream.

When I was doing art full time, my spouse had a full time 9-5 job that got us health insurance. I wouldn't have been able to do it otherwise.
If you’re a working artist talking to other creatives I’m begging you to not hide this. I have a parter who makes more and I don’t hide that and try to be as open as I can especially one on one. It’s cruel to not be honest with your fellow artist and give them any kind of false hope or fear
Many full time creatives have “invisible safety nets” like bread-winning partners, trust funds, external support, etc. No shame on anyone, but it creates a false vision of success. The cost of going to cons alone on top of hoping to eat as a freelancer are untenable, IMO.
