What do you do when the art you don't enjoy making as much gratuitously outperforms art you enjoy more?

Writing a first draft more like “fucking around and finding out”
I imagine the final draft of AM is going to look very different than the first one I’m currently writing, but there’s definitely value in doing an ugly first draft. We’re experimenting. Were level grinding. Yeehaw

Yesterday felt like pulling teeth trying to get started and just barely went over the ~1600 word count, today... was a different story. Whoopsie daisy did 3000 words in 2 sittings 😅
