It really is nuts to see the 40 year olds around me do what my parents did: assume school is the same as when you were there 25 years ago. It’s incredible, the passage of time and refusal to see it

There’s only a few places I have myself exposed to regular ass ads and one is podcasts. The automatic ones that were rolling in last night sure were suddenly military heavy.

I realized the other day that I learn about a lot of people - jazz guitarists, poets who I haven't read, journalists - almost entirely from their obituaries when they are struck and killed by cars

Last night I started two paintings for fun, for me, and the whole time I was doing how will this sell calculations in the back of my head stopping me from doing something more complex. I want to shake myself.
