Been rewatching Golden Girls. Grew up with the dub, it's crazy how different the sub is.

I'm trying to think of what my ECCC setup should be and what I should bring, I've been doing so many craft shows lately that I'm looking at my Craft Show Crate Display and my Comic Show Wire Squares and I don't know who I need to be

ramen places should have to tell you on the menu if your bowl only comes with half an egg
This place needs some Innocuous Discourse pronto. Quote this with a take that’s not political or aggressive

Starting to understand people who wear glasses and only use them sometimes. I don’t need to be seeing all this all the time

It really is nuts to see the 40 year olds around me do what my parents did: assume school is the same as when you were there 25 years ago. It’s incredible, the passage of time and refusal to see it

I'm hitting the post office tomorrow if you want this in your house asap
As we wrap up 2025 how about a 2026 postcard calendar to keep in touch with friends via letter.

The art each month turns into a postcard with a bonus mini art that matches the month's art.

Transferred my drawing to the board and honestly tempted to just leave it like this, I love the texture I get when I used a chunky pencil to transfer

There’s only a few places I have myself exposed to regular ass ads and one is podcasts. The automatic ones that were rolling in last night sure were suddenly military heavy.

It is a hard time to sift through book reviews for your next read if you have zero interest in romance in your books

I'm seeing a lot of posts to call your reps but little on actually how. 5calls.org is a great site where you can put in your zip code and get numbers for your house representative and two senators. You also can get a script if you're like me and stumble over your thoughts.

I realized the other day that I learn about a lot of people - jazz guitarists, poets who I haven't read, journalists - almost entirely from their obituaries when they are struck and killed by cars
Bill Martin has been one of the most beloved and influential figures in the movement to retell Richmond's story.

Over the weekend, he was struck by a vehicle and killed. His sudden loss has brought an outpouring of grief and shock from the community.
He exposed the myth of the South’s ‘Lost Cause.’ His death shook Richmond.
William “Bill” Martin, 71, died Sunday, Dec. 28, a day after being struck by a car near the Valentine local history museum where he had served as director more than 30 years.

Last night I started two paintings for fun, for me, and the whole time I was doing how will this sell calculations in the back of my head stopping me from doing something more complex. I want to shake myself.
