Hopefully the whole Bari Weiss thing and Ezra Klein thing starts waking people up to the fact that corporate media is mostly populated with mediocre people who have made millions and gained unbelievable influence because they threaten nothing and tell wealthy people exactly what they want to hear.

I'd heard of a pair of Peregrine Falcons nesting at Glasgow University ( https://www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/sustainability/biodiversity/peregrine%20falcons/ ) and went on a hunt to spot one. Hugely pleased with how immediately successful the hunt was.

For Hooters waitresses, a story: I once dated a guy who lived in the YMCA in Bayonne. He kept getting fired from deli counter jobs for eating the "product". He was a gorgeous Italian guy, struggled for years, living on the streets, etc. I met him at a deli. I ordered ham from him. He asked me out.
