I decided to start a Substack.

In it, you’ll find electoral analysis, policy recommendations, and general musings about this broken country we call home.

My first article is out. I hope y’all enjoy it.

Musings on a Broken America | Substack
We can start to fix what’s going wrong in America before we devolve into total self-destruction. We just need to start trying.

Nuzzi is like Trump in this sense: the worst thing about America is not that someone that awful exists, the worst thing is that much of the press promotes and normalizes it for clicks.

yep. also really can't overstate how much nuzzi is very much the product of an environment that rewards amoral ambition and frowns on people who sincerely believe anything

this should go without saying but if you were one of the lucky few we did get out of Afghanistan during the withdrawal and we got you out because you'd been working with us, deportation back is likely a death sentence.

Our totalitarian race-despot regime is going to be sending death squads into churches to attack Christians while they celebrate the birth of the Christ child

They have no intention of hiding this because they are proud of it and wish to use it to terrorize their victims

You don’t hate these people enough.

Homan, Miller, Bovino, Noem, etc. are terrorist ringleaders.
"Agencies within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including ICE, ERO, and CBP intend to implement a comprehensive plan to target Spanish-speaking churches across the country during the upcoming holiday season between Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, and Christmas, Dec. 25."

They don’t want to be Woodward and Bernstein, they want to remain in the good graces of the Republican Party cocktail circuit.
You know what's really pathetic? Journalists and other members of the media who are still helping to cover this up even when they weren't even invited to pedo fuck island themselves. I mean have some fucking self respect

a fully, mask-off groyper GOP could win if Dems got unlucky with the economy. 2024 tells us that environment rules all, coalition weaknesses really only matter on the margins. I'd still rather deal with that than Trump's irreplaceable branding and particular charisma with the worst people alive

Major win for the left and pro-housing advocates in Seattle as DDHQ pulled a MO-01 2020 and erroneously called it for the defeated incumbent
Seattle Mayor -- UPDATE:

- ☑️ Katie Wilson - 137,217 (50.25%)
- Bruce Harrell - 135,871 (49.75%)

We project that Katie Wilson will be the next mayor of Seattle.

i don't think people really understand how insane a democrat winning NJ-07 **ON THE STATE LEVEL** is

under these lines, NJ-07 went to the GOP candidate by double digits for every single governor's election for the past few decades (including 2017 and 2021)

and sherrill straight up WON it
it's too glorious....

So if this is true, Schumer has completely lost control of the quislings within his caucus who stabbed us in the back and cost us our health insurance.

Regardless, Schumer must resign NOW.

and let's be realistic they are going to do this again in january like, note for note.

as far as I can tell the entire list of people in or around Democratic politics who think this vote was a good idea consists of the people who took the vote and whoever else in the caucus silently supported them
"Democrats could have held the line on the shutdown, and spent weeks watching Trump’s approval ratings fall," writes @jonathanbchait.bsky.social

The Dem base wants the shutdown to continue because it’s the only time we’ve felt like our electeds were representing us: trying to squeeze the GOP instead of squeezing us to accept concessions; directing their anger at the Republicans instead of at their own voters for wanting them to resist
November 10, 2025 at 4:12 AM
The sheer anger I have seen tonight from Democrats towards their leaders, particularly against the Senate, has eclipsed anything I've seen since or even goes beyond Election Night 2024.

Schumer and co. have set something off with their fecklessness that they can't put back in the bottle.
the thing that upsets me about this the most is that Dems had all the momentum, republicans were reeling, and we were getting intra-GOP fighting over the filibuster, all while voters were blaming republicans for their incompetence

this destroys all of this. just a total gut punch
