I should talk about the eviction too. I don't want to, but we *have* to keep repeating this history, so people know, because what happened at Dale Farm *was* an act of ethnic cleansing carried out by British police on the mainland UK, and it's still happening to GRT people.

Today is the 13th Anniversary of the day the Travellers at Dale Farm, at one time the UK's largest static Travellers' site, walked peacefully off the land they owned (and still own) after a nearly year-long siege by bailiffs and cops ended in the most violent "eviction" I've ever experienced.
