This is a post from a Jewish politician condemning rising antisemitism in the US, saying nothing about anti-Zionism or Israel. And yet the replies are entirely full of people preemptively jumping in to say, “criticizing Israel is not antisemitism! Being anti-Zionist is not antisemitic!”

There is neither tension nor contradiction in something being *both* stridently pro-Palestinian nationalism (I refuse even to use "antizionism," it's unhelpful) AND antisemitic, because nationalist & mass movements are happy to wield bigotry in the Cause.

Not only do I refuse deportations of student protestors as a solution to antisemitism, but the mere potential of that "solution" makes me less safe as a recognizably Jewish professor, because I will never seek redress for any actual antisemitism if there's any chance it could result in deportation.

Has anyone tried out Beyond Peat Bio-Fiber for mulching/composting? I want to try it in my veggie garden, but not if it's, like, infested with mirror universe fraggles or something, and a superficial googling at the garden store just brought up promotional materials.

I read the famous "Peruvian trans comic book." Turns out it's mostly an ad for student exchange programs in the US, and there's no trans character in it. There is a *gay* character, but he's cis. But I guess that isn't scary enough, so they lie about it.
