Harriet Tubman was born while John Adams was alive and died when Ronald Reagan was alive.

Adams: 1735-1826
Tubman: 1822-1913
Reagan: 1911-2004

When Adams was born, Hydrogen had yet to be identified.

When Ronald died, he could’ve been listening to Hoobastank.

It was swell that Directv's broadcast pooped out right before the Ravens' 2-pt attempt to tie the game with about a minute left in the game. The game broadcast never came back on.

You know what voters want?

Okay. I'm going to let you in on the secret. You ready?

Here it is:

Voters want to go a single day without having to say "Oh for fuck's sake now what?"

That's it. That's the mystery.

This news is incredible. 100 days this year CA's used 100% renewables to power the entire grid, & through a heat wave, there's been no significant disruption (cough *Texas*). Energy analysts are seeing a "phase-change" of the grid with the addition of 5 nuclear plants worth of battery storage, wow
"No rolling blackouts or grid emergencies as California continues on path to a carbon free grid. Several strategies, including upgrades to vulnerable parts of the grid at play here, but key enabler is more clean energy, especially solar, and above all, battery storage..."
