This Yglesias piece in the NYT is horrifically bad. Almost every "fact" it cites is provably false. At best it is cocktail party banter from a pundit who knows nothing of energy. At worst, it was cut/paste from oil industry talking points. So, a rebuttal: www.nytimes.com/2025/12/18/o...

David Brooks, who wrote in the NYT last month, "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out" is... in the latest Epstein photo dump published by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov.

He should absolutely be fired by NYT for this. Major conflict of interest that he didn't disclose.

Something I have to reiterate is that you are being straight up lied to about trans people and our healthcare on an unfathomable scale, this instance reporting is already being torn to shreds by other people commenting, but the frequency of this kind of reporting is astonishing, it's neverending.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

Pretty impressive that through this entire scandal and press blitz, RFK Jr. hasn't lost focus on his life's work of shortening the life expectancy of the average American and endangering the lives of children.

I take Wikipedia for granted. Reading this Jimmy Wales interview reminded me in our Fantasyland age what a remarkable and important creation it is. True pillar of civilization. "orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."

People throw around terms like genocide quite freely online but it’s hard to find other words to describe this level of man-made death.

A central issue at trial for the My Lai massacre in Vietnam was whether an Army lieutenant, or the Army captain who was his superior, was responsible for the order to leave no survivors.

Neither suggested the SecDef would have given such a command.

If ATL airport is rough for travelers, it's even worse for many of the workers. One of the people in my book, Cass, works the graveyard shift mopping floors and cleaning bathrooms.

She's kept at 29 hours a week because at 30 she'd qualify for health insurance and sick leave.
