Not to put too fine a point on it, the Supreme Court ruling, the EHCR guidance, the government's ramping up of anti-trans policies...people are dying because of them right now. There are trans and non-binary individuals killing themselves because of all of this right now.

Some wonderful looking books here. I LOVED @sarahjlonsdale.bsky.social's 'Wildly Different' - and have already ordered @drmjwarren.bsky.social's 'The Cuckoo's Lea'.

Has anyone read any of the others?

It is vital to understand that the RW press scream "Brexit Betrayal!" already. Pretty much every single day.

(I know that for a fact: I check the Express, Sun, Telegraph and Daily Mail daily to learn what sort of political propaganda they're feeding people.)

So not much would change on that front.

In Parliament last week I pressed for the closest possible deal our biggest trading partner, the EU. Youth mobility schemes, linked emissions trading, and stronger energy-climate cooperation will cut red tape for British business, protect jobs, and fuel growth.

Hey British media,
It’s no surprise that if you give Farage the run of the place, he’ll start winning.
Time to do your actual jobs and start interrogating him on his Brexit shitshow, his funding, his Trumpiness, his idiotic manifesto, his real plans for the NHS… instead of drumrolling him into No.10

Hearing now that every National Science Foundation grant is having to go through a new “DOGE review”. So existing grants and long term science and technology research having to undergo review by one of Elon’s interns. Huge percentage not passing their muster.
