Not as bright as forecast. Pieces of a man, loitering at the intersection of art, cycling, and eco-socialism.

I'm sure the privately-educated former deputy chairman of the Hammersmith and Fulham Conservative Party won't be out of work for long.

I prefer the singular possessive, "Oh, for fuck's sake." It just sounds more professional.

'Franklin et al' also works.
One thing to do, especially if you’re a science writer or editor, is when you have occasion to mention the names of the discoverers of the structure of DNA, just say “Watson, Crick, and Franklin.” No one can stop us, and it is correct.

Joni Mitchell was born on 7 November 1943 in Alberta, Canada. Photographed by Jack Robinson on 20 November 1968 in New York, she had just released her first album and was about to perform an acclaimed and sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall.

The biggest lies have a grain of truth at the heart of them.

And so it is with this Telegraph article.

The thing is, this would/will only be true for pensioners with income - income, not assets - of over £125k per year.

So only those who can afford to contribute a bit more, then.

Yet another Reform councillor posting disgustingly racist comments, in this case Farage's pick to be Doncaster's mayor.

My take? That we aren't at all surprised doesn't mean we should accept this and behaviour like this as the new normal.

Murmurations are beautiful and mesmerising, and I love them.

Absolutely.

Individuals and organisations who care don't block cycle lanes.

Doing God's work on dog walks.
On my dog walk I often chat with right wingers. I pretend I am an ex-Reform voter put off by the utter fuck up of our county council. Then they see me as one of their own, don't get defensive and shouty, and start to question their own opinion of Reform. Honey, not vinegar.

You love to see it.

I certainly do.
📈 Greens on *18%* in this latest poll!
