The idea that we can try to do better by one another is reinforced each time you wear a mask.

There's a bond shared between those who take precautions and this speaks to why: there is joy in solidarity, compassion and kindness. Showing that you care enough to try is a radical act of love and trust.
Never forget that masking is more than just protecting yourself from covid.

It’s an act of compassion, resistance, solidarity and community care.

It shows that you don’t believe people are expendable. That you refuse to be responsible for someone else’s suffering.

The kindness is in the trying.

Increasing COVID activity in Victoria

7-day average hospitalisation figures (194) have increased approximately 12% in the last week

Case numbers increased 10% in the last week to 1,597 laboratory-confirmed cases

A 63% increase over the last month
Increase in COVID-19 activity
Victoria is currently experiencing increased COVID-19 infections in the community, which is resulting in an increase of people being hospitalised with COVID-19.
