Every time I do one of these book and art giveaways I get a bunch of unfollows from the anti-book-and-art-giveaway crowd and I always just think, That's cool. I get it. Free books and art are two more of the major blights of the modern world, alongside climate change denial and sex trafficking.

Bluesky may have its issues, but when we really need a thread analyzing the ballistic qualities of sandwiches, the Skyverse provides.
The surface danger zone for sandwiches really depends on the ingredients tbh. An Italian sub, for example, has a high frag rate because of the bread consistency but better aerodynamic range, while a croque monsieur and the Rueben have less range but more splatter.
It's not in this article but the government asserts that the sandwich was thrown at "point blank range", which implies subway sandwiches have defined effective weapon ranges of varying lethality, and I would like to see the government's chart of these ranges.

I dunno. I do like our government spending less money anywhere they can. I like even more if my taxes go down as a result. Since when is our job to be the world’s mom and dad? Did other countries step up to fill that gap?
