Minnesotans! I'm a patient rep on a body that advises the Prescription Drug Affordability Board. We're trying to define "affordable" and my hunch is that you have stories of what is not. And of why getting the rx you need is about so much more than $. Tell me your stories so I can amplify! DMs open

Like I need something else to be mad about but already getting pissed at DFL moneybags who want to primary Ilhan Omar AGAIN when we need to concentrate on replacing Tina, taking back the state Capito trifectal, keeping CD2, and defeating Finstad, Stauber, Fischbach and Emmer.

Still grieving Kari Dziedzic and now, Melissa Hortman. They were so alive, so vital, so good, so strong. Fuck cancer and fuck guns.

I feel like this is easier to ignore in some places than others, but American citizens have been at war with “their” police forces for decades and I don’t know how to get people to understand that a lethal occupying force has never and will never keep us safe
LAPD is now joining the fray. They are firing rounds of less lethals

O'Hara was quoted in the paper *today* saying MPD didn't have enough staff for an 8-person investigative unit for non-fatal shootings—the same program St. Paul is using to cut its gun related homicides in half. Got plenty of guys to run interference for ICE tho.
MPD chief o’hara heads back up lake st. towards bloomington. crowd has largely dispersed.

Just gonna put this out there: We are ALL pedestrians. If you drive, you also have to walk to your destination. Usually across a busy street, and that crossing should be safe . That I am typing that feels ridiculous. But yes, car driver, you too are a pedestrian, in that "very small minority".
Lydia Millard seems to believe literally in the existence of a War on Cars. Speaking about pedestrian, bike, and transit improvements, she says "We are penalizing the majority of the people that live in this neighborhood to cater to a very small minority."

I am the only labor-endorsed candidate and I’m running for re-election to continue serving Ward 7 with strong leadership. Thanks for your support @liunamnnd.bsky.social 🙌
#LIUNA is proud to stand with Labor-endorsed @katiecashman.bsky.social because we support leaders who support workers! Period. When Labor has respect and a voice at the table, everyone benefits. On to November! #WorkerSolidarity or bust! #LIUNAVotes

This is one of the wildest things to me. From a policy perspective, I’m really not sure what the gripe is with Cahsman from more moderate folks who don’t support her. I know policy is rarely what politics is really about (frustrating to me) but it feels especially off here.
Cashman gives example of being in the middle on the council. Voted for police contract, against rent control, took more "moderate approach" on carbon fees and algorithmic pricing.

I’ve been watching Shaffer’s tenure on the park board closely since she was elected. She’s a terrible park board commissioner and would be a terrible city council member. She’s the landlords’ mouthpiece, for coddling the already-rich and powerful.
Shaffer endorsed on 2nd ballot

Cashman 142
Shaffer 222

if anything this convention result (Shaffer endorsement by 1 vote) has fired me up to be *even more* all in on Cashman because of the absurdity of it all 🔥
I honestly don't understand why *any* DFLers don't support @katiecashman.bsky.social. In 1.5 years she supported incredibly solid DFL priorities w/ impressive endorsements. I hope she gets the DFL endorsement now. But if not, I'm confident she can win in November & continue leading in the DFL party

A reminder the tariff crisis ends as soon as congressional Republicans want it to end.
(AXIOS) - The Senate on Wednesday killed a resolution that would have effectively reversed President Trump's 10% tariffs on all imported goods, with just three Republicans joining with Democrats in support of the measure.
