If you have two minutes free right now, call Netflix and leave a comment in support of this programming and ask them to stand up for their shows against political pressure.

Phone number is 1-866-952-4456, and I waited less than a minute before a human picked up.
1. Led by Elon Musk, the far-right has exploded in a campaign to get Netflix to remove shows with queer and trans characters.

If Netflix capitulates to their demands, an already strained market for LGBTQ+ animators might become even more dire.

Trans rights are not the rights of a tiny minority, trans rights are everyone’s rights to self-determination, control of our bodies, and a society where opportunity and aesthetics are not restricted by sex assigned at birth

You should support and defend trans people because trans people are people

Just in case any of y'all thought they'd actually filibuster the appropriations bills coming with all the anti-trans provisions and shut the government down.

Call your senators, demand no anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ+ provisions in appropriations bills.

I want to see every Democratic senator and representative exhibit, at the very least, the level of courage being shown by the CDC staffers who are walking out in protest.
This is such a no-brainer that the lack of a coordinated response feels deeply damning. A Democratic leadership team that can't mobilize an instant all-hands-on-deck effort on RFK Jr. isn't a leadership team at all.
I know Democrats are overwhelmed (or rudderless, if you are less charitable) by the sheer volume of Trump authoritarian moves, but I’d like to see them unified behind specific goals like “RFK Jr is a threat to public health and needs to go.”
