They’ll never accept it, but everyone who cast a vote for Donald Trump did real, generations-long damage to the United States and the west in exchange for essentially nothing of value.
Carney: "The old relationship we had with the United States based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperation is over."

This is straight-up fascist dictatorship activity. Not fascist-adjacent or “reminiscent of authoritarian regimes” or whatever euphemistic bullshit — fascism.
UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

18F is *precisely* what Musk and team claim should exist within government. But when his team found it, they destroyed it, because it is evidence that government works well (can’t have that!), and because like Zelensky, 18F didn’t bend the knee.

Just in case people don't know the context, this is a policy called splitting the letters, developed by fundamentalist Christians to use feminist and queer language and culture to split the T off and then turn the others against each other.

You can watch their 2017 conference planning it.
UPDATE: The National Park Service have now removed “queer” and the “Q+” from the web page for stonewall, along with any mentions of transgender people.

There are literally hundreds of research projects here at UIUC being destroyed by the cuts to the NSF, NIH, NIFA, USAID. It’s an incomprehensible waste of scientific progress and human capital.

In a one-party state like California, voters’ real power is in obscure, low-turnout primary elections that decide who controls the Democratic Party. This is one such election. You should register and vote!
Democrats in California: take 4 minutes to sign up for ADEM elections by Jan 31 at noon (in 12 hours). This is a high-impact election to influence the California Democratic Party @cademocrats.bsky.social, but you have to register.
