The irony of these people complaining about the invented dangers of immigrants and then welcoming brain pollution from overseas hustlers.
Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

Not to worry, Seattle's 24/7 police surveillance cameras, expanding soon into three more neighborhoods, are totally different than Flock cameras and the feds will never, ever demand access to the footage (according to most of the city council and outgoing mayor)

Jennings and Sorbo are cool that Trump is a lying pedo rapist who caused an insurrection, broke the economy, killed an excess of Americans during Covid, but they draw the line at Trump calling Americans “untalented.”

If you don't know who Michael Burry is, he's the guy who spotted the instability in the housing market with subprime loans and predicted the 2008 financial crash. Christian Bale played him in The Big Short.

We stand behind journalists or we are fucked. Please Canada don’t fuck this up.
But this lawsuit is so much bigger than me or PressProgress

This lawsuit could have chilling implications for journalism and democracy in Canada

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

This week on the pod, we're diving straight into Meta Ray-Bans. We'll get into:

- How some people are abusing the glasses to film massage workers
- A $60 mod that disables the privacy-protecting recording light in the smart glasses
- The difference between a phone and a pair of smart glasses
