Demon skull.

More experiments with models generated using Hitem3d. This one went REALLY well, from a 100% free demon skull picture.

I've made the files available for download, LW 11.6 and up, also provided in OBJ format. Link will work for a month.

(Flew 2 Gemini missions, flew to the Moon twice, flew the 1st shuttle).

More experiments with the Hitem 3d model generator.

I tried feeding in a small Bruce Pennington skull, and it worked surprisingly well.

First a basic texture and moving light:

I did a new version of the short video, Eagles over 2001 Moonscape.

* Fixed some minor technical issues.
* Better render quality.
* Brightened stars a little
* Lowest Eagle now passes behind foreground rock.
* Music added "Cloudless" by Cousin Silas.

Does DAN DARE: FIRST CONTACT honor Frank Hampson’s work and vision? Yes. Is it also accessible to someone who’s never read Dan Dare? Absolutely. Is Digby still from Wigan? You bet.

Great stuff from the BBC's Steve Rosenberg.

Russian papers say:

* 7000 transport companies on the edge of bankruptcy
* 1 in 4 companies has overdue debt
* Why was so much Russian money in EU accounts?

And use the word "war" openly.

Here's an unusual one..

I extracted a moon landscape from "Space Odyssey", enlarged and cleaned it, then added some Eagles from Space 1999!

Kubrick poached members of Gerry Anderson's team, so this seems only fair...

Was going through old folders and found a model I'd done of the shuttle from Outland(1981)! I think it still holds up fairly well. I remember modeling it while I was still at Adidas doing footwear design and desperate to break into games.
