Please stop sanewashing reflexology. Its 20th century invention (no it's not ancient) was by a pitchman who was demonstrably consciously full of it as he developed its fake marketing angles. Foot massages are great and bring real stress reduction — but that's not what reflexology is at all:
Please stop sanewashing reflexology
The more you learn about the 20th century pitchman who invented reflexology, the more it makes you want to scream at today's abettors.

“I had some more fried food for lunch.”

Even the throwaway lines by day players in Rob Reiner movies landed. He delighted in everything.

Stephen Miller says Afghan immigrant Rahmanullah Lakanwal was incapable of assimilating to American culture. But a factcheck shows that Lakanwal used a gun to assault and kill multiple innocent people. Four Pinocchios.

As is the example in the Herald, not the exception, white men in positions of responsibility are nearly always presented flatteringly in photos.

In this example, the Herald created an inset, choosing a photo of Mayor Wu that met a lower standard than the photo of Josh Kraft. Just politics? No.

Hey @bostonglobe.com please, enough with these annoying popups. They’re disruptive and unnecessary: if one clicks like on a comment they already liked, just make it not count or remove the like instead of requiring your readers to navigate to a small button to click to close.

I always get a kick out of the NYT Defense Squad trotting out harrumphing takes about how serious journalists don't report on mere speculation, blow things out of proportion, dig into their colleagues' email, etc etc

The Herald, Vennochi et al. deserve a stern rebuke when complaining about strategic alliances formed to advance a City Council President. And when smearing elected officials unfairly to advance their own agenda. This week it's Wu (again), Coletta and Santana.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Really. You're going to tell us what to do?

We're the ones paying the bill.
Whose lives are on the line.
Who are being abducted and deported.
Who keep showing up to fight ICE
We are the 7+ million who showed up and then voted

Get rid of Schumer.
Clean your house, get it in order, then listen.

We won't be successful fighting Trump with Schumer/Durban in party leadership positions. Now is the time to put leaders in place who understand the fight we're in.

Will you call for Schumer to step aside?
