So, the Democrats who caved believe a Republican pinky promise that there will be an ACA subsidy vote in December. Anyone skeptical? And even if it passes, it has to pass a House vote and/or a very likely Trump veto. They gave up leverage and essentially got nothing. #DumpSchumer

Rural hospitals are already struggling. The Big Beautiful Billionaire Bill will make things much worse. Now, with ACA subsidies ending, it will be the death knell for even more rural providers and residents.

Republicans don't compromise. Too many Democrats not only compromise, the capitulate. Getting a mere promise (non-binding) of a vote on ACA subsidies isn't compromise, it capitulation.

Mike Johnson refuses to swear in Rep Grijalva to keep Epstein files from the American people. Only 4 Republicans have signed the discharge petition (Massie, Boebert, Taylor Greene and Mace). With a large number of GOP Reps retiring, you'd think one could summon up the courage to do the right thing

Trump will be attending a Salute to Service football game in DC tomorrow. Somehow, I think those in uniform would prefer to get paid after earlier in the week he suggested they hit food banks.
