Cis allies can pair up and call the authorities on each other for being trans in a public bathroom, exhaust due process until medical records are subpoenaed, and tire the cops with it until they complain so much about enforcing it that they stop bothering, like they did for non-crime hate incidents.

It should be a bigger scandal that North Carolina, where Republicans control both houses of the legislature, has been unable to pass a state budget. As a result (among many other things) Legal Aid is not receiving any funding. Republicans are incapable of the most basic functions of governance.
